I awoke a little late on this fine Saturday. I open my eyes at 12 pm and receive a phone call from my ex-roommate Steve. Steve wanted to get some coffee and breakfast. I also wanted to get some breakfast, so I suggested a nearby coffee shop, but on our way there, we passed a restaurant called Kartoffel Kavalier, and Steve suggested we stop by and say hello to the owner Pablo, not Pablo Escobar, but Pablo good cookbar. Steve used to work in gastronomy with Pablo and had nothing but positive things to say about him.
I was starving and didn't care where we ate, so Pablo Cookbar made us a meal that wasn't even on the menu, and oh my god, it was delicious.
Later, Steve told me that Pablo had an expansion in gastronomy and had worked in major restaurants in Münster for over 16 years. Pablo had always wanted to own his own business, and he was so good at his job that he rose to the position of manager in the majority of the restaurants where he worked. Later in life, Pablo met a friend named Ozkan, and the two decided to co-own a restaurant, which is when Kartffel Kavalier was born.
Pablo was not only a fantastic cook, but he was also quite amusing.
We laughed a lot and made jokes about almost everything.
It's a pleasant atmosphere for sure, and this restaurant is located right in the heart of Münster, close to the Bahnhof or the train station.
