This is Theater Münster, formerly known as Städtische Bühnen Münster, a municipal theater in Münster, North Rhine-Westphalia (Germany), a prestigious theater for opera and ballet music.
It is considered the first new theater built in Germany after World War 2, when it opened in 1956. It also includes one of the ruins of the former theater and music school, which were destroyed during World War 2.
Städtische Bühnen Münster is not only a historic theater, but also the most traditional cultural institution in Münster. The Theater Münster with its five divisions - music theater, drama, dance theater, concerts and young theater - considers it its central task to convey this diversity to a broad audience. It is located in Neubrückenstrasse, very close to St. Martini Church, as you can see in the picture.
